Whatever your life situation is now, New Directions can help find safe, affordable housing for you and your family. To find the best match, we’ll show you how to start the application process, explain the different apartment options, what you’ll need to qualify, and tell you what to expect going forward.
All applicants will need government-issued photo ID, birth certificate, and social security cards for all those who will live in the apartment.
Housing options are always limited, so we encourage you to apply for multiple apartment communities.
Select the housing type below that you believe you qualify for, then click View. Follow the instructions and choose as many options as you can. If you don’t already have an account with New Directions, you’ll need to create one using an active email address.
We’ll let you know what additional documentation is necessary, and your application will be on hold until we receive those documents. Once we receive all necessary documentation, we’ll send you a letter within 7–14 days to confirm you’re on the waiting list.
From the date you are put on the waiting list, there is typically a wait of six months to one year until you are approved for housing. When your position on the waiting list reaches the top five, a property manager will contact you for any additional information.
New Directions offers housing assistance for people with limited or no income, and for seniors and those with physical and mental disabilities.
You’ll need to provide evidence that you qualify for the type of housing you’re applying for. See below for details and listings of available properties.
